SACSCOC requires member institutions to develop a Quality Enhancement Plan (PDF - 68 KB) (QEP) as part of the reaffirmation process. QEPs must focus on enhancing student learning and/or student success. Other QEP considerations include alignment with the mission of the institution, participation of a wide range of institutional constituencies in the development and implementation of the plan, grounded in an assessment of institutional need, and supported by sufficient resources to implement and complete the plan.
Winthrop is currently in the process of implementing a second QEP – Flight Ready-Career Readiness (PDF - 1818 KB)– commencing in the 2022-23 academic year. The institution’s previous QEP – Global Learning Initiative (PDF - 1414 KB) – was implemented from 2011-2016.
