ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Winthrop University Galleries will celebrate Winthrop fine arts and design alumni with its first juried alumni exhibition, “VIVID.” This exhibition is open in the Rutledge Gallery during Homecoming and Reunion, Nov. 6-11, and concludes Dec. 1.
An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 9, from 5:30-7 p.m.
The Galleries is particularly proud to present this highly anticipated exhibit because it showcases the great work alumni from Winthrop’s own programs go on to create following graduation.
“This exhibition aims to transcend artistic boundaries by showcasing captivating and thought-provoking creations that leave an indelible mark on the viewer,” noted Galleries Director Mike Gentry ’08. “This event invites artists to participate in this unique opportunity to display their work to the public and to inspire current Winthrop students.”
