The fire log is maintained daily to provide information about fire incidents occurring
on or around campus and to promote awareness in accordance with the Clery Act. This is a record of all fire related activities reported and handled by the Winthrop
University Police Department and the City of Rock Hill Fire Department.
The Winthrop University Police Department maintains a fire log that includes a report
number, when generated, the date the fire incident was reported and/or occurred, general
location, a brief synopsis of the incident, and disposition if known. The online daily
fire log will be displayed and maintained for the previous five years. Any additional
or previous years, please contact the Records Department, located at the Winthrop
University Police Department. Hard copies of actual Incident reports may also be obtained
at the Winthrop University Police Department located in the Good Building at 526 Myrtle Dr. Rock Hill, SC 29733. Please reference reports by the generated
Incident report numbers.
