I am asking for your help on an initiative that is very important to Winthrop’s future.
Winthrop University once again is participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). The survey gauges the quality of students’ educational experience and level of their engagement in campus life.
Within the next few days, our freshmen and seniors will be invited to participate in the online survey. I am sure you are as interested as I am to learn how our students describe their experience here at Winthrop; therefore, we would like to hear from as many of them as possible. You can help in this effort.
Please encourage students to complete the NSSE. Simply mentioning the NSSE and asking students to participate will convey the university’s commitment to enhancing their living and learning experience at Winthrop.
I do ask that you follow the guidelines of Indiana University’s Institutional Review Board and not contact an individual student directly via email – a group email or verbal request to your class, team, organization, residence building, advisees, student workers, etc. is permitted.
I know that I can count on your support and thanks for all you do on behalf of Winthrop.
Edward
