As I announced in last month’s FS update, we’ll be holding a November 14 town hall that will take place at 11 a.m. in Whitton Auditorium in Carroll Hall. (Note: this is a new location.) The town hall will be an opportunity to learn more about what’s happening at the university by listening and asking questions of me and the vice presidents.
Some topics we plan to cover include reporting on progress of phase 1 strategic plan initiatives, our budget priorities for the upcoming legislative session, capital improvements planned, administrative changes surrounding campus copying/printing, and what academics might look like in the future.
You may submit questions in advance by sending an e-mail to townhalls@winthrop.edu by close of business Monday, Nov. 11. In case you cannot attend, the town hall will be recorded and a viewing link will be shared afterwards. Look for a reminder on the morning of the town hall with details for the virtual option.
Hope to see you there!
Edward
