Staff Scholarship Application

Leadership York County (LYCO) is a unique professional development program through the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, designed to develop a group of informed, dedicated leaders in our community through civic involvement and service to the community.  This fun, engaging opportunity is one that many Winthrop employees have participated in over the years, benefitting from the education, connections and experiences participants gain through the nine-month program.  Full program information available at yorkcountychamber.com/lyco

 

While participation in this program is encouraged, it may be more challenging for some departments to cover the cost for one of their staff to participate in the LYCO program ($950).  To remove this barrier, we have partnered with the Office of the President to provide a Staff Scholarship to sponsor one Winthrop staff member to participate in this program each year!



Interested staff must complete an application to verify eligibility and supervisor approval for participation in the program.  Applications are due to staffassembly@winthrop.edu no later than June 14. 

Staff Scholarship Application

The recipient of the scholarship will be randomly selected from all eligible applicants, and then must complete the official LYCO application for acceptance into the program.
