How has being a Close Scholar impacted your college experience?
I have become more of a community-oriented student. Close Scholars has given me good reasons to serve and give back to the community.
What has been your favorite community service experience and why?
I love serving at my church because I’m able to learn new skills with computers and production. I get to give back to the church with my time and talents.
What advice would you give to incoming students interested in serving our community?
Go into it with a humble attitude. Don’t look for personal gain, other than being open minded to learning something new.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself working with Charlotte FC premium services and hopefully being married by that point. I want to be in a steady, stable part of life by then.
What is your favorite thing to do on campus or in the surrounding areas?
I really enjoy hanging out in DiGs and at Winthrop Lake. Winthrop Lake is such an open area with so many things to do, so I love spending time there.
Where would you like to travel to and why?
I would love to travel to England for a soccer game. I love the Premier League and would love to see a Premier League soccer game.
Fun fact?
I am half Romanian.
