Purpose of Organization: The purpose of National Association of Black Social Workers is to enhance, empower,
and advocate for the black community. We focus on making the community better and
teaching others about challenges that are faced as well as assisting in those challenges.
Description of Organization: We work to make awareness of issues that appear in the black community as well promote
professionalism in the area of social sciences. Currently we are composed of social
work majors, social welfare minors, males and females, undergraduate as well as graduate
students.
Planned Projects/Events: We plan to do fundraisers for local organizations, volunteer, and host programs that
grant awareness to unknown issues as well as cover important topics.
