The Winthrop University Board of Trustees adopted the 2021-22 Campus Master Plan (pdf - 9.32 MB) at the regularly scheduled June 23, 2023, meeting. The final deliverable from the planning team and partners is a prioritized, phased master facility plan for Winthrop’s main campus and athletics, recreation and research complex.
Released to the campus community in early fall semester 2023, the plan includes some proposed changes that are more near term (the next 3-5 years) and others that are more long term (the next 10-20 years). Proposals include new buildings, additions and/or renovations to existing buildings, as well as landscape enhancements.
