In the news, Dr. Kori Bloomquist was awarded the Thompson Scholar Award. The Thompson Scholar program is generated through Robert and Norma Thompson Endowment which provides awards to faculty members to work on projects that help students and the community. Dr. Kori Bloomquist has designed a Fostering Eagle Empowerment program to support former foster youth on campus. Join us for the Fall 2024 Speaker Series. On October 22 at 11 a.m., Dr. Roberta Greene will be speaking on "Reminiscence among Older Adults", and on November 14th at 11 a.m., Ms. Vilissa Thompson, LMSW will be speaking on " What 10+ Years of Activism Has Taught Me: Advancing the Voices of Disabled People". These sessions provide a stimulating environment for you to learn about and support, faculty and student research. The research topics are exciting and draw attention to critical social issues.
