In the news, Dr. Kori Bloomquist was awarded the Thompson Scholar Award. The Thompson Scholar program is generated through Robert and Norma Thompson Endowment which provides awards to faculty members to work on projects that help students and the community. Dr. Kori Bloomquist has designed a Fostering Eagle Empowerment program to support former foster youth on campus. **Research And Practice (RAP) Sessions**
Join us for the Spring 2025 Speaker Series! On April 15th at 11 a.m. in Owens Hall G01, Dr. Julie Orme will give a talk titled “Bridging Borders: Navigating Cross-Cultural Relationships in International Social Work.”
In this event, Dr. Orme will share her insights from studying and conducting research in South Africa and Ghana. We will also provide opportunities for peer conversations, encouraging attendees to connect on a deeper level with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
