Application Due: September 21, 2018 at 5:00 PM -- Must be submitted to Celeste Tiller in Thurmond 221.
Recommendation Forms Due: September 28, 2018 - Must be submitted to Celeste Tiller in Thurmond 221.
Orientation Sessions: Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM or Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 7:00 PM, both are in Whitton Auditorium, Carroll Hall.
Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Chima Restaurant in uptown Charlotte, 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
To be considered for the mentoring program you must complete the following:
1. You must apply for the program. Fill out the application and take it to Celeste Tiller (Thurmond 221) when it is completed. Students who participated in 2016-17 and/or 2017-2018 MUST complete a new application this year. Applications are due September 21, 2018 at 5:00pm.
2. You must attend an orientation session regarding the program. Sessions will be offered at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 25, and Sunday, September 30, at 7:00pm. Attendance at one of the sessions is mandatory for program participation. Both session will be held in Whitton Auditorium in Carroll Hall.
3. You must have a Winthrop College of Business professor complete a recommendation form. Recommendation forms are due September 28, 2018, to Celeste Tiller in Thurmond 221.
4. You must attend the program kick-off event and networking social on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 7:00pm. This event will be held at Chima Restaurant in uptown Charlotte. Parking is available and we can also transport students as needed. This will be a fun evening of networking where you will meet participating mentors and socialize with Winthrop alumni.
