Dr. Androzzi is a professor of physical education teacher education (PETE) and serves as the PETE program director in the Department of Physical Education, Sport, and Human Performance (PESH). He also serves as the director of the Floyd College Readiness Program. Dr. Androzzi’s research focuses on high intensity interval training in physical education, preventing childhood obesity, interdisciplinary health and physical education, and motivation in physical activity. He serves as the Higher Education Chair for the South Carolina Association for Physical Education and Sport. He promotes wellness in the community by contributing to after-school and in-school programs that teach healthy eating, fitness, and social skill development.
