About the Program

The M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology emphasizes the study and application of learning theory and technology skills that can be applied to learning problems in a wide range of settings. Students will learn skills including but not limited to:

  • advanced analysis skills,
  • instructional design skills,
  • media development skills,
  • digital media evaluation skills,
  • project management skills,
  • eLearning design and development skills,
  • eLearning teaching skills,
  • evaluation skills,
  • the skills needed to stay current in a quickly evolving landscape of learning and technology.

 

Students will learn to apply these skills through a hands on, project-based learning curriculum that focuses on building the professional portfolio you will use to advance your career.

 

Graduates may find employment in a variety of settings including but not limited to K-12 districts and schools, corporate, health care, government, military, nonprofit, and higher education environments.

This 30 hour cohort program will allow you to finish your degree in 5 concurrent semesters while building a professional network with the students in your cohort.
