Janet R. Wojcik, Ph.D., FACSM, is a Professor and Program Director in the Exercise Science program in the Department of Physical Education, Sport, and Human Performance. She is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and ACSM/American Cancer Society Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer.
Dr. Wojcik serves on the Leadership Team of Wholespire York County and on the Bike/Ped Coalition of York County. She publishes articles, performs peer review, and mentors undergraduate researchers. She is experienced in program assessment and Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation standards and has served as a virtual and in-person site visitor for accreditation. On the national level, Dr. Wojcik is a member of the ACSM American Fitness Index advisory committee, and she is on the leadership team of the ACSM Built Environment and Active Transportation Special Interest Group.
