The Winthrop Eagle STEM Scholars Program is seeking motivated, goal-oriented, high-caliber
students who demonstrate excellent proficiency in science and mathematics. This student-centered
program provides individual and peer support, resources for academic success, and
an unmatched level of access to scientific research. Applicants should have completed
advanced or AP/IB courses in mathematics, chemistry, physics, or biology and should
also have a strong GPA and math SAT score.

Some of the selected scholars may also receive a financial package.
The Eagle STEM Scholars Advisory Board will make selections for the program based on students' academic performance, standardized test scores, and commitment to community service. Preference is given to those who have taken advanced placement courses in math and science.
