Mission

Our mission in the Center for Advising and Transfer Success (C.A.T.S.) is to provide academic advice, student support services, programming, and advocacy for undeclared and transfer student populations. The Center for Advsing and Transfer Success (C.A.T.S.) collaborates with campus offices to attend to the unique needs of our student populations and coordinate university efforts on their behalf.

The Center for Advising and Transfer Success (C.A.T.S.) serves its students in the following ways:

  • Serves as an advocate for transfer student needs.

  • Assists transfer students in navigating the university's policies and procedures.

  • Provides individual support for transfer students related to academic and personal concerns.

  • Offers referrals to campus resources and offices.

  • Provides programs and events for transfer student success and engagement.
  • Recognizes Transfer Students throughout the year and during National Transfer Week in October.
