I’m Ready – Alumni to Student Mentor Program

I'm Ready Logo

Welcome to Winthrop University's I'm Ready alumni to student mentor program!  The goal of I'm Ready is to create lasting connections where alumni mentors offer valuable insights and career guidance, helping student mentees successfully navigate their academic and career paths.

I'm Ready breaks the mold of traditional mentoring by offering four flexible micro-mentoring sessions—two each in the fall and spring semesters. These focused sessions are designed to fit busy schedules while making a big impact. Each session hones in on key topics like career exploration, skill development, networking strategies, and personal growth, ensuring both mentors and student mentees get the most out of their time together.

The 2024-2025 program is underway however alumni mentors and student mentees can jump in at anytime! The third micro-session is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 and will focus on networking & professional branding.  There is plenty of time to get registered and work through the first two micro-sessions!
