You are a creator. You dream of building new worlds using multiple art forms and sculpting an idea to
make it reality. Learn about the tools needed to succeed as an artist in courses like 2D design, 3D
design, ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, expanded media, and sculpture. Additional
subject areas (or courses) outside these disciplines include interdisciplinary studio,
jewelry metals, printmaking, and video.
A degree in fine arts provides students with experience in problem-solving, creative
thinking, and innovation required for many career opportunities in the arts and beyond.
Students will gain a working knowledge of art and design principles, skills, and applications
to create an awareness of historical and contemporary perspectives.

Fine Arts '24 - '25 Distinguished Alumni, Chris Clamp, will talk about the concepts and processes of his artwork currently on display in the Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Gallery.
Artists Liliya Zalevskaya & David Sackett will discuss their artistic process. Both artists are alumni of Goodyear Arts and both hold Masters Degrees in Their work will be on display in the Edmund Lewandowski Gallery in an exhibit titled, Frail, Brittle, Ever-Threatening.

Capturing the Camino: 500 miles of saints, bones, tombs, and medieval art

An artist and art historian teamed up to hike a medieval pilgrimage trail 500 miles from the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains to the tomb of Saint James in Santiago de Compostela. Along the way, they captured imagery for the creation of immersive digital models of the trail's cultural heritage sites. This is the story of their journey.
