The West Forum sponsors an annual internship with a government agency or other political organization. The internship is available in spring semester, and it is open to all Winthrop University graduate and undergraduate students, regardless of field of study. Applications for the internships are available each fall semester. The West Forum intern receives a cash reward from the West Forum and may also receive academic credit for the internship.
David is a Political Science major with a minor in International and Global Studies. In his time at Winthrop, he has served as the member of the Council of Student Leaders, a writer for the Johnsonian, a member and President of the Winthrop College Republicans, and a member of the Winthrop Model United Nations program. After graduation, David hopes to enroll in graduate program, where he will pursue a Masters in Political Science.
