Kenya Ratliff is a Career Coach for the Center for Career Development & Internships. She has a master’s degree in School Counseling from Gardner-Webb University and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with minors in psychology and Spanish from Charleston Southern University. Kenya became a part of the Winthrop community in June 2024, coming most recently from a background in K-12 education as a School Counselor. She is a dedicated and compassionate counseling professional committed to helping others discover their strengths, voice, and purpose. Kenya is also an accomplished musician: she is a Flute Section Member with the Gaston Symphonic Band and a Flute Ensemble Member of the Charlotte Flute Choir. When she is not helping others, she loves to travel, read, listen to music, relax in the sunshine, and spend time with her lovely family.
