My Financial Aid
Accepting Aid
Students who receive e-mail award notifications may view, accept, or decline aid on
Wingspan. Students should accept or decline aid within 30 days of the notice of award offer.
You must have a Winthrop e-mail account to access Wingspan. If you have not created a Winthrop e-mail account, you may do so by clicking on
Need an account? from the Wingspan home page.
Once you have logged in to Wingspan, use the following steps to access your financial aid offer:
2025-2026 (fall 2025, spring 2026, summer 2026)
2024-2025 (fall 2024, spring 2025, summer 2025)
- In the Self Service 9x - NEW box (right side), click Financial Aid Dashboard.
- Select Award Year 2025-2026 from the drop-down at the top right.
- To view messages, click the down arrow next to each message.
- Scroll down to see your aid offer:

- Grants and Scholarships: Lists any grants/scholarships (if applicable).

- Options to Pay Net Cost: Lists any loan/work offers (if applicable).

- Click each award name to view its message.

- Under Take Action (far right), choose an option for each award.
- Scroll down and click Submit.
- In the Self Service 9x - NEW box (right side), click Financial Aid Dashboard.
- Select Award Year 2024-2025 from the drop-down at the top right.
- To view messages, click the down arrow next to each message.
- Scroll down to see your aid offer:
