SE: Substantially Exceeds Performance Requirements

Defined as performance that is considerably and consistently above the job duties and characteristics. This rating occurs infrequently and is achievable by any employee.

EP: Exceeds Performance Requirements

Defined as work that is above the success criteria and goals for the job throughout the rating period.

MP: Meets Performance Requirements

Defined as solid performance that meets the requirements of the job duties.

NI: Needs Improvement

Defined as work that requires improvements in certain areas while other job duties or characteristics may be meeting requirements.

UN: Unsatisfactory

Defined as work that fails to meet the requirements of the job duties.
